Made by dropping ink onto a drumhead, patterns are created reminiscent of microorganisms in a petri dish. The title refers to the idea of hope in the repetition of a sound and reflects the idea that biotechnology is creating drugs to improve lives. But it also relates to the dismal state of our world in general from income inequality to MAGA to climate change. 16.5" diameter
