Subsumption explores the tension between human agency and artificial intelligence absorption. This piece emerges from a live video feed capturing my physical interactions with a life-size sculptural installation called "Dummy," which serves as both collaborator and subject. The recorded movements become prompts fed into AI systems, generating real-time visual interpretations that blur boundaries between human intention and machine perception.
Part of a larger participatory installation, Subsumption invites viewers to witness—and participate in—the gradual dissolution of human autonomy within an AI-dominated landscape. Each interaction with the Dummy creates data points for algorithmic interpretation, forming a feedback loop where human gesture becomes machine language, then returns transformed.
