Human Horizon, 2024 print from 2 Generative AI images based on Candy and Oankali sculptures, 48" x 24"
A generative AI image born from recursive dialogue between physical sculptures and algorithmic interpretation. Photographs of my Candy and Oankali sculptures are fed into Stable Diffusion, which navigated their latent representations to produce unexpected visual mutations that blur the boundaries between organic intimacy and synthetic emergence. This digital work embodies the central paradox of my practice: as I collaborate with AI to explore post-human futures, the machine's interpretations reveal new possibilities while potentially subsuming my own creative agency. Part of an ongoing feedback loop where my handmade tactile works inspire digital visions that inspire new sculptures—a co-evolutionary process questioning what creativity means in an age of artificial intelligence. Printed dimensions variable.
